Thank you very much for this well thought and clear/clean design proposal.
This is a great design - The only thing we are going to change is the outdoor shower is going to go along the left side of the house - You were very thorough and i love all the images - this is very impressive
The layout of this house is quite functional and the style is spot on. If we go with this designer, I'd like to add an additional closet in the large office for storage for seasonal items, cleaning supplies, etc... Otherwise, the flow captures all our needs. The outside appearance of the house is unique compared to the other submitters, and quite stately. There were some that were a little more our style, so we scored a point lower for aesthetics. The exterior facade looks like a tudor, which may not be approved by the HOA since our existing house is minimal traditional. Also, there were no renderings of the attic space. However, the kitchen/living/dining room design is near perfect. Great job.
Great job using client suggestions to pull together a cohesive design! thank you!
I liked your solution to the utility room the best from those submitted. Good job!
Did a wonderful job of creating a nice space. The sofa is not my style but love the wall clock design. Very close to the top
Love it. Option 1 is our favorite floor plan combination.
One of the best design.. Designer capture our ideas very well. Colors are exactly we had in our mind!!!!Thanks
We LOVE the way the inside of the house looks - it fits what we were looking for in our brief and the style agrees with the materials we provided. Family room is bright and kitchen is big and connected. We liked the master on the top floor (some entries proposed putting it on ground level) for privacy and noise reasons. Bathrooms on upper floor are close together to control expense. Two fireplaces made us happy. The only concern we have with this design is the large stretch where the back wall is removed to allow for living room expansion - really hope this is do-able/not crazily expensive without a dropped beam or other sport. We would actually probably swap the dining and office spaces. Thank you very much for your submission.
My ranking criteria were aesthetic of the design, affordability, practicality, and use of green materials. Aesthetics - I really liked this design! The designer started with the kitchen and the breakfast room, which I thought were okay. The family room was a little better, and then things really picked up and were spot on for every room pictured after that. My partner loved the use of color and found the elements of the design in each room very pleasing. I liked how the designer really looked at the space and designed something particularly for it. Other designers were quick to change the wooden doors and windows, making it a lot of work for us. This design kept the wood and worked with it, turning it into something beautiful. The designer also gave us a few choices to work with, which I really appreciated. Looking at the pdf of the materials and prices really allowed me to see the design elements of the room apart from the space which helped as well. Each time I open up the design I find more to love! Affordability - I like how the designer gave me the prices and names for all of the items and a few choices. That was really nice. This allows me to easily purchase an item that I like. Elements were from west elm and pier 1 and could be easily obtained. Designer worked hard to stay in budget, which I appreciate! Practicality - The design was extremely practical and it had everything we needed and nothing we didn't need. Green materials - I loved the use of reclaimed wood and the organic bedding. Good work! Final thoughts: Other designs were flashier, but this design was the best for our space and budget. It was easy to tell that this was a great design even without the flash. Both my partner and I are very happy. I think the only thing that I would change is to bring the color palette from the living room and dining room into the breakfast room and family room to tie the downstairs together. We can tell the designer worked hard on this design and we appreciate that. Thanks for your design submission!
Excellent. Would like to work further with you.
Wow! Great attention to detail. One of my concerns would be TV/movie watching. Since the TV is located over the fireplace there really isn't a good seat for watching movies. I could think of relocating the TV to another wall. Sorry for my slow response and I did not see your posting until now. Great work!
Incomplete. Only 1 graphic, no floor plan submitted.
I apologize for the delay. Competition was tough. Your have good taste in your selection of colors and distribution of the house. Your proposal of closet in the kids bedroom was unique. I appreciate the effort you put into the development of this design.
Very nice graphics presented. I also loved the details you included for the components, as well as the decorative ideas on the wall.
This is my husband's favorite design. I also really like it - I am just unsure about the "patio" portion being the same depth as the carport, but we could modify that. This design would really make our house a feature on the street. I appreciate the suggestions for plantings and materials. While I like the warm look of the wood, I'm not sure how much work the upkeep will be. That concerns me. Thank you for your hard work!
